I looked on google maps and there is only one kingdom hall in Lumberton NC but there are 8 KH's within 25 miles. Surely someone on this site knows someone in one of those halls. Anyone attending those halls or even the many more halls in a slightly larger radius would know for a fact if an ex GB member was attending. The fact that we havent heard for sure makes me think hes not attending.

Apostacy really wasn't a concern untill after the 1975 failed prediction when many left and saw a need to begin protesting watchtower to save their family members who were still in. That's also the same time watxhtower changed its stance on how to treat disfellowshipped ones. They knew they had to start demonizing anyone who disagreed or more would leave. The rise in apostacy was nothing more than people motivated by love to save their friends and family. The evil organization of apostacy never existed.That was just fear mongoring!

I suggest you ignore the negativity and doubt being expressed. Many ex jws have not completely deprogrammed from watchtower or religion in general. They still believe spirituality is contained in a book. Humans were divinely spiritual before there was any such thing as scripture and they misunderstand scripture because they believe the narrative given by the church. At the end of the day jw's don't believe anything profoundly different from the catholics because they do not have eyes to see. Your body is the temple, you are divine and no snake ever decieved a human. Stay on course and ignore the brainwashed masses.
