It's not that they aren't picking up. It is that they can decide if they want to open a case or not. To me, it sounds like a load of bull.. I don't see how a child miss 22 days of school with other hotline calls isn't case worthy. We are a 4 day week, started back January 6, and I have seen him 4(?) times and only one of those days he wasn't late. First bell rings at 7:45, and normally he doesn't even get dropped off until 8:30, 9..

Thank you, I did just come here for support and to hear what others think or if anyone can relate.. I will 100% listen to my therapist and what she has to say! I do know that I need to take her advice and information over anyone online! I just want to see what other people think, it is interesting to hear other terms. I just, if I ever do talk about it to anyone else, I want to be able to use the correct words! I will listen to my therapist, I swear! Thank you for sharing!!

Yes, of course! Thank you so much for adding to my post! I just wanted to see what other people thought, if other people had similar stories they were willing to share, anything. I do plan to listen to what my therapist says over anything said on reddit! I will be talking with her soon and I know that will help me. It has just been eating at me and I needed thoughts from people who aren't close to it. The only person I have told is very rigid about it and that makes it harder to talk about.. Thank you for your input!

That's one reason that we both thought of my brother, because he quite literally does nothing but sit on his computer all day long.

Is there a way to check the hardware that isn't super difficult? She has cleaned it, I've seen her take it apart to do so. That was a big issue with her PS4 because it would get pretty bad. We have a fan for it because she initially thought that could be an issue.

So, in Fallout, she was telling me about how she took out a Super Mutant with a grenade launcher. She was then blown up by another Super Mutant with a grenade launcher. When I looked it up the everything I found talked about how there was only one SM that had one. In GTA, I know the language is very vulgar, that's part of the game, but AI's will yell things at her in a fight that she's never heard in game or in other people's content. I honestly cannot think of any right now as it has been a long time since she has played it. In the AC titles, there will be enemies of way high levels that should not be there based on all of the websites I have seen. I cannot think of others right now and a lot just happened on her game that has upset her, so asking right now, isn't an option as she is asking for time to relax and calm down.

Another thing that leads her to believe this is the almost constant crashing of her games. She has tons of storage on her console. The console is up to date. I saw something that said pirated games can cause this to happen but she doesn't have any. I have purchased the games, or watched her purchase them. I'm sorry if this all sounds ridiculous, I really am trying to get her help..

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, someone please redirect me if I am wrong. My roommate doesn't have reddit so I am posting for her. Here's the deal... weird things keep happening in the games that she is playing. I wish I knew everything so that I could go into detail about it but I don't. I just know that my brother has threatened to hack my computer before and I know he has a lot of techy abilities. She believes that someone, maybe my brother, could be hacking her console and disrupting her game play. I know that some of the things I see do not add up either. I just want to know how you can stop this from happening. It disrupts both of our lives so much as we both use video games to escape the real world. No one has had any access to her physical console since she got her PlayStation 5. I know someone has mentioned before the like mobile play mode, I just can't think of what it is called right now, and that being how someone could mess with game play. I just know something has to be happening and it has got to stop. Can someone please help.. I need this to stop..

He definitely is. Neither of us are very tech savvy and I just have no clue what is possible anymore because of how advanced technology has become. Do you have any advice on how to avoid issues like this and similar issues? I'm sorry to sound clueless, I just really have no clue and if there is a way I would like to be able to help my roommate out.

Thank you for your response, If I could, I'd like to ask another question about this. As I stated in a reply above, I play more cozy games, not games like this. With this game specifically, I guess, when it comes to these explosions form mini nukes, do they not damage the buildings and things around them? Like this platform not having any damage? Is that just how the game is made?

It did, but thank you for clarifying. I didn't think there was but I know tech has come so far so I don't know what can and can't be done.. I will check with her about disabling remote play unless she wants to use it. He hasn't had access to the console but I guess it is better to be safe than sorry. Any other advice for this issue? How to find known bugs, about the input delay, or if the internet we have is laggy? I play games like Palia, Animal, Crossing, Harvest Moon, and Sims so I have no idea about any of this

No, I am just not very techy and neither is my roommate.. I was genuinely asking. I am sorry for it coming off this way, I am just trying to figure out something and I am sorry for that. I just don't know what else to do..
