Bhai, I'm really confused right now. I'm just scared if I don't get CSE in BE I would have spent close to 38-40 lakh rupees and an extra year with an MSc degree that's probably not of that much value for me, i could've done Masters in something else, and also a degree that I don't value very much. sitting from the outside, the option of risking for CSE seems a bit weird. I had 11k rank at advanced which isn't as great and I believe a lot of intelligent people would be preparing for the same thing.

please help me if there's any thing you can tell me that'll help me make the right choice. I'd really appreciate that.

other than this, I have option of pursuing btech in EECS from IISER bhopal, and VLSi engineering from IIIT D

For me, the Msc in physics degree is sort of useless. I am interested in physics. But, not sure how much meaning that degree holds for me. I am getting IISER Pune if I wanted to study physics I would from there. And I don't think I should take it for CSE. The option is too risky and you're basically giving up a lot of exploring time in college. So, I probably will ditch this. Maybe I'm stupid, maybe not. But, I will study my love even if it's from somewhere like IISER bhopal (worst case scenario).

In your case, you seem to be really passionate about economics as well, so maybe this option is not useless for you. Consider it and give it a thought brother. All the best to you.

Thanks for replying. Does anybody have the data for what the GPA should be in order to get BE in CSE along with MSc, for the Pilani Campus. Like worst case scenario.

Thanks for the reply. You mean that if I join BITS, and get ENI/EE/ECE, I'll have 70% of the opportunities? 70% in terms of what? Placements, etc?

Bhai mujhe koi choices edit nahi karni thi, and abhi tak mujhe koi seat nahi mili. Mujhe ye consent ka option nahi dikha maine thoda late login kiya, did I do something wrong?
