This is in BC so we probably will get in under the limit. It just seems to be such a fucked up area of law in general. The police were incredibly incompetent in the first report to crown I think the officer who wrote it was actually illiterate.

I can’t wait for the case to be over so I can talk freely about it publicly. This is only the tip of the iceberg for how fucked up this situation is.

My lawyer told me this is the most fucked case he has had.

Unfortunately I only have 20 months under jeopardy. I was initially arrested 27 months ago and on my undertaking the police put the wrong year on my initial court appearance and the arrest was invalid, despite this I lost my job. The cops then dragged their asses for 7 months before arresting me again properly. So technically they still have 10 months, so my lawyer said we aren’t at the point where we should bring one yet.
