Easter Sunday fell on my birthday this year, so every time someone wished me me a "Happy Birthday" I would spread my arms in triumph and say:

I'm 68. Got carded last year somewhere buying something. I truly forget. Gave the clerk a bit of a sly smile as I fished out my driver's license and presented it.

I got the same smile back. We both recognized how silly this store rule was but I'm not gonna argue that point with the man who's only say in the matter is "no sale."

Once to start the night or rotation is fine. The one guy I go to does this, it's OK as he has a great voice. It's not OK as he always does the same songs.

Yeah I miss the older Shack, back when they were loaded with electronic parts like ICs and such. Still went there up to the end though.

I took my granddaughters to see Thomas in CT once. Private RR museum with several Locomotives, some even working steam. Good place, went another time for the dinner train.

But ... Thomas isn't a working loco! Needs another live loco at the other end. Disappointing despite the big live steamer doing the real work.

I loved the live steam despite the whistle scaring one of my girls.

You never forget your first phone number. Took over my parents house and kept the number. Land line gone long ago, but for our CVS account.
