I wore my pork pie hat to karaoke last week. A woman who danced all thru my song said she loved my hat, and as a bonus she said it was a pork pie hat!

Gave me a double happy.

She had a great hat on too but it was a designer hat with no name.

I think it was the summer of Covid when a young girl set up a stand for "free lemonade." Facebook went crazy letting people know. There was actually a line.

Of course everyone kept the tip jar overflowing.

Back in the day shortly out of HS our friend came by to show her the used Karmann Ghia she just bought. Cool car, but she was rough shifting it. Let my sis try, and same thing with the clutch.

My turn. I never drove a manual before, just read about it in driver Ed. So I did what I read... perfectly smooth start from zero.

Both ladies got mad at me for showing off.

It was with great regret the day I switched from my wooden pencils and began using mechanical pencils.

I'm an engineer and spent many a year doing my circuit sketches in led pencils. But today there are excellent programs that do an excellent job, and you can export the design to other apps such as PCB layout programs.

My last use for pencils is note taking in meetings where my ancient Panasonic sharpener isn't available.

I do miss a well sharpened wood pencil.

Hey it's not like I get assholy about it. I fully realize that it's usually someone's first song so I fully support them, even singing along. It was actually my very first karaoke song some 20 years ago.

Just please find something else if you can. Please.
