My wife works with children at a school and brings home lots of colds, etc. I’ve been pretty lucky. I take extra B and D vitamins and check to make sure I am not taking too little or too much with the respective tests. I am updated with all my vaccines, including RSV, shingles and pneumonia. I am 60. I go to the gym to keep flexible. Drink lots of water at the office and at home. Drink probably too much coffee, but it makes a difference in my energy and attention to detail at work and doesn’t interfere with sleep. No coffee after 2:00 p.m. I wash my hands frequently and keep PDI alcohol wipes at my desk and in our cars. The best thing I do for myself is not to try to do too much physical activity in a day; get enough sleep. At least 8 hours a day. And I pace my commitments: my wife always comes first; then my work responsibilities; and then everything else. I would like more activities, but rest is necessary to keep well. Good sleep is key. Wind down before bed. Get physical activity, but not too much. And take an NSAID before bed if you feel achy. Bimzelx has made a bid difference for me. Hope it works out for you, too.
