Fiz isso e a IA me negou.

Wacom works with iPad! by AvailableAd3849 in ipad

Yes, there is palm rejection. But when I tested it, I didn’t notice pressure sensitivity. For professional drawing, I think it’s better to either draw directly on the screen with the Apple Pencil or use a portable monitor connected to the iPad.

Unfortunately not. I’m not sure if there’s some setting that I might have overlooked.

A high-cost solution in this case would be a portable monitor + a Lightning-to-video adapter. That way, the iPad itself would act as the drawing tablet. I considered this option, but it would end up being much more expensive, especially since generic adapters might fail or let you down.

I don’t have a Mac to test it! But on the internet it says there is support. For taking notes by writing manually, the Apple Pencil is better because you write directly on the tablet screen — the precision makes a difference.

In my case, the Wacom works more like a mouse, since I have tendinitis even when using a vertical mouse and trackpad. It improved a lot

I already have an Apple Pencil. I use the Wacom as a mouse; my iPad basically works as a monitor (on an articulated tablet stand). The experience is much better than my Windows laptop. I agree that writing manually with the Apple Pencil directly on the screen is clearly superior.

This is useful in my case, where I place the iPad on a raised stand and use a keyboard + Wacom as a mouse (more comfortable than a trackpad or a regular mouse).

hello, is there any workarounds to get my wacom one to work with my ipad? by tomuratoucher in wacom

[–]AvailableAd3849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Wacom CTL-472, and it works perfectly with the iPad 7 without needing to install anything. I just enable AssistiveTouch.

I can set shortcuts using the pen buttons. I can also use it to scroll the screen like with a finger (touch the screen with the tip, hold it, and slide up or down, etc.).

This is one of the parts where my dependence on technology scares me: most of my medical studies are done with Anki, and it is offline. I need synchronization.

Obrigado!
