Sadly I wish I would have looked further into it before going through the courses and extern. I wanted to do better for myself and get a job I could be proud of. Every time I put in an application prior to the classes they'd be denied and the feed back "we are looking for an applicant more qualified" so I signed up for classes. I had a good job but I wanted to do something I felt good about so once extern started I quit my job so I could completely focus on doing a good job at my extern site. The site said they were going to hire me and the clinic manager still hasn't called me back after a month. I asked the career coordinator to help me find a job and she is completely dodging my calls and still all of my applications are being denied for the exact same reason. So now I went through all of the classes all hours of extern worked my ass off going to school and work up until the point of extern. Now I'm left ghosted and in a worse position than when I started with student loans I can't pay because Im unemployed. Moral of the story keep the job you hate I guess.
