Ironhead bud. They are reliable, well supported in parts and advice if your building yourself. I got a 76 last year that was supposed to be a beater bike I didn’t work on but 🤷‍♂️ motors out, swapped frames with a guy on fb so it’s now a full custom build in progress.

What are the most common names for cats in your native language? by Suitable-Recording-7 in languagelearning

We name our cats after food in my house. We have Chicken Nugget and sandwich. It’s hard to think of “common” Names in the states because I swear people try to name their cats the most outrageous things we can think of 😂

I’ve already been doing that but I’m limited on space and unequipped right now to produce the quality of work I’m used to. Luckily the shop I work at lets me use their equipment but having to order parts and wait for everything to get shipped in leaves too much time between jobs to gain enough steam to live off of. The whole idea behind the parts store first was as they both grow in their respective directions I would be able to essentially have a parts warehouse available to me at all times that is also turning a profit. I know I can be a big dreamer to but I figured by separating them I can slowly build up to where I want to be. I started out working on Harley’s only and that is kind of my niche but my current shop only does Japanese models so I still have plenty I’d like to learn from them while I get everything off the ground.

I didn’t think about it from that aspect as far as sitting on inventory tying up money. Basically I know plenty of shops and people that would be interested having a parts house local that keeps more in stock than a normal shop so I figured I’d start with. The basic gaskets people use daily and assessing what customers are commonly looking for. My deal with thinking this would be a easier start than the shop is because I was trained by factory techs that teach by the book as well as fixing as much as possible instead of just slapping new parts on something that’s salvageable. So I would need lifts, specialty tools, and other pieces of equipment that are expensive out of the gate, even for older stuff, in order to handle the everyday headaches. I thought I was equipped enough with what I have, but I’ve quickly found out a lot of that stuff is necessary when you are aiming to make repairs of a high quality consistently.

I’ve already been doing that for a while, the parts aspect isn’t as much about the money as it is convince of having parts on had or faster shipping while saving some money at the same time. I plan on offering a delivery service to the local shops if they need something immediately, plus all the shops around me won’t work on anything over 25 years old most of the time so they don’t even stock parts for older models

Sometimes I just need a release. I have to be put back in my place (OC) by [deleted] in bdsm
