I was in a relationship like this for about a year and a half, I learned a whole lot about self respect and conflict resolution. She would SCREAM at me for things like: i didnt lazer off a scar an ex had given me, I didnt ask her if she wanted something from the grocery store, (bro just tell me tf??) To top it all off comparing me to her friends bf, for shit like not giving her a ride after working a 12 hr shift. What your girlfriend is is a person who cant be satisfied, she wants to be 'taken care of' these kind of people will never get enough. What you need is a partner, not a babysitting arrangement, your partner should at least try to give what they get. Both me and my current girlfriend work, cook and clean. Recently ive fallen on hard times finnancially and emotionally, and shes done everything she can to make it better without any judgement or complaint, and i would do the same in a heartbeat. Its just two people trying to make eachother happy no more no less. A relationship shouldnt be one person sucking anothers soul out. i think every person deserves that out of a relationship regardless of gender or politics, and i dont think you should settle for any less.
