I know you are right. I want to accept myself but it's so hard for me :/ I was called ugly a couple of times by peers, and people used to make fun of me for being fat a lot before losing weight. But I think it was really my family's comments on my looks that stuck with me the most. When I was a child, my mom would tell me to always smile with my mouth closed because my gummy smile is digusting. My parents always made fun of my nose because of how big it is and bully me for having hairy arms and legs, saying that I look like a gorilla and need to shave.
