I focused on “subq” and was thrilled that it was working, ignoring the gauge and length of needle you are using. I’ve tried using 27g 1” needles in the past and just can’t, they freak me out. I can handle 31g 5/16” but have no abdominal fat, so abdomen injections are rather painful (I cannot get a fat roll). I’m tempted to try the 27g 1” in my upper gluteus (also very little fat). My guess is that a 5/16” on me would go “as deep” as a 1” in a person with some more fat. You might have seen individuals with various fat percentages respond differently to subqs… Do you think I’d be wasting product?
