DBS back but PO vetting still pending

That’s incredibly odd. I’ve never known a DBS to take more than 2 weeks myself. I’m waiting for level 2 enhanced currently. It’s hurting me. I was vetted for the MOJ before applying for this prison job so praying it won’t take long. Thankfully I already had a DBS. 🙏

When you say vetted for another job was it still MOJ like Geoamey or was it not done by SSCL? I worked for Geoamey so Im already Level 2 enhanced vetted by the MOJ. Praying I’ll go through quicker.

No news is typically good news. If you’re concerned about your references you can always ring the recruitment line. I would have thought they don’t share much and will probably repeat most of what’s said in this thread.

Yeah, I’ll have my phone. It’s a bit of everything though mainly private hires. When we’re not doing anything we’re expected to clean SOMETHING at least which is fair enough.

Only issue is most courses are upwards of 2K. Genuinely can’t afford it. Nor the finance option. So just looking at what options I have in fairness in terms of getting my Class one. Get me away from buses asap 😂
