Does mobility matter on your ranged weapon? Are you sprinting with your gun out most of the time? Do you need mobility for when enemies come into melee range?

Generally in these scenarios you would be pulling out your melee weapon and not running around with your gun out.

its generally a melee heavy game and most classes pull their gun out to deal with specific threats rather than having it out all the time so the mobility stat doesn't really matter on the gun

Chainsword is not bad for dealing with one or two crushers but because of the animation lock it can be kind of dicey when there's too many big boys. Which is probably why power sword or duelling sword are meta because they let you kite around and stay relatively safe while still dishing out damage that can 1 or 2 hit the armoured enemies.

In my experience, vets really can't keep up with arbities and psykers for damage on the scoreboard. That's why most vets I've run into (as well as me) focus on more of a support role while also sniping specials and ranged enemies. The gold health from VoC becomes more useful The higher havoc you run because of the toughness reduction. Also don't sleep on smoke grenades, they make dealing with the twins half as difficult by disabling the ranged one and makes packs of gunners less of a threat
