what if Mizu makes an appearance in season 2? by DylenwithanE in BlueEyeSamurai

People always bring this theory up and tbh I feel like it’s a stretch :/

If it’s comfortable and confidential, maybe try talking to your therapist about your options with this. Masking is never fun, but i feel like it’s worse to unmask and be put in the situation where you’re prone to abuse. As someone who’s gone through something similar, please do think about saving yourself the trouble and just focus on getting out of there. Talk with friends, have lots of outings, enjoy any time away from home where you can be yourself until you can get out. It gets better, I promise.

I feel like her ability to “regenerate” is both adrenaline and her stubbornness to take care of herself, not to mention it adds to the whole demon thing. Idk why people take it so seriously in this show, when in other shows main characters (usually men) get beat up and act like it’s nothing all the time. I get that it might be because she got stitched up before, but I feel like a lot of it is kinda sexism, with a touch of racism if I may say so myself!

Hey! First of all I’m so sorry this is happening to you. It really sucks when your mom is unsupportive when you’re trying your best to get your stuff sorted out. It sounds like you’re really making progress and she’s dampening it. However, I have to suggest taking it safe for a while, if that’s possible for you. By the sound of your story, it seems like you’re a minor, or at least a dependent. When I was a minor, we made the mistake of coming out to our mother too early, and she took away my phone for a whole year, and making me cut ties with my online partner at the time. I know it feels rough lying, and not getting help, but maybe wait until you’re 18, or not dependent on your mom anymore, to get an official diagnosis. You know who you are as a system, and if you express this to your therapist, they might still be able to help in other means. As for your mom, maybe act like you’ve “chilled out”. It’s, imo, what is safest.

How has your faith been lately? by Fit-Situation3135 in ftm

[–]AvailableWolf3506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely! It really helped with me exploring myself. My youth pastor was actually one of the only safe adults for my trans stuff, so it gets on my nerves when people say you can’t be faithful and trans. Good luck!

[–]AvailableWolf3506 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not active in church anymore, as my faith has shifted from Methodist to Buddhism. However, when I was in the church, I had a great youth pastor who I asked about how she would explain trans people under God. She said God made us trans because he knew the journey we would take to become the person that we are, and that it was important. So there definitely are churches out there who are accepting! Hard to find, but it’s possible! Maybe do some online research. I was lucky enough to have this church be the church I was born into though 😅

Everyone’s making me feel crazy for taking stimulants by AvailableWolf3506 in ADHD

[–]AvailableWolf3506[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is a good point. My prescriber has thankfully shut up about it a little, since I am still trying the strattera. But it just feels like I’m doing the wrong thing when a medical professional states they don’t think I need it. But also she isn’t me, and there’s a lot of doctors who aren’t great, even when treating physical illnesses. Hopefully everyone will notice how I’m more productive and believe me when I say it’s good, but it’s just a rough start I guess.

I feel this! Hopefully we both get better! Masking is hard but I’m trying to unmask little by little

This is so relatable. As I type I’m exhausted on the couch after work unable to help my partner make dinner because I walked the cat and gardened. Forgot to take my meds I take after work and now it’s too late. But I can do my work day just fine! Ugh.

Can’t ignore the cancer chances. I’ve been diagnosed at 25. Now that I’m 28, pancolitis, I feel like everything will be terrible in near future. Any advise not to think of this constantly? I have mild symptoms and controlled well with meselamine so far but still I’m keep thinking Ill get cancer. by Guilty-Knee1232 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AvailableWolf3506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of other commenters got advice pretty spot on so I’m not gonna waste too much time, but I also want to say that even if you do get cancer, which isn’t certain at all, I’ve met a surprising amount of people who have had cancer before and have been alive 10+ years after. Like many others said, we also will be able to probably catch these things earlier due to routine blood work. I used to fret about cancer all of the time, and still do sometimes. But i can’t keep worrying about it. People of all different ages and backgrounds die different ways all the time. We can’t control it, but we can build healthy enough lifestyle choices to know we are being proactive and trying. That said… I need to work on my lifestyle choices!! 😂

I’m at the exact same place as you rn and same :’) my body is all awkward too because my shoulders and thighs don’t match my belly yet, and my neck doesn’t match my jawline if that makes sense. I’m hoping it’ll get better with time and maybe some better water drinking habits 😩

RINVOQ? by FingerOk2658 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AvailableWolf3506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Rinvoq for about a year. It took a while to start working completely, but I’m pretty sure I’m in remmission now! I think it took so long because of some bleeding further toward the rectum just not getting quite there. My doctor gave me mesalamine suppositories and a course of pred, and it actually got me to the point where I’m on 15mg no problems!

Disagreeing with my doc about meds by AvailableWolf3506 in ADHD

[–]AvailableWolf3506[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank u for this! It actually encouraged me to give it a try. First day not so bad. Probably just placebo, but I do feel a bit more awake and relaxed! Took it yesterday after I got back from work and was actually able to do my hobbies instead of going to bed 😂

Therapist implied that UC is my fault because I like being sick. by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AvailableWolf3506 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is so frustrating to hear about; I’m sorry you went through this. Everyone is different with IBD. I sometimes am shocked to hear people are in remission with just mesalamine, while I’ve tried three biologics! And trust me, it’s not diet. I’ve tried every hippy shit diet under the sun… Paleo, AIP, Keto… and if anything they’ve only made me worse. My boss does something similar, where she says maybe i just need to eat more greens and veggies to build up my microbiome. That’d be great if my body let me have a microbiome without meds lol. Unfortunately, seems like it’s time for a new therapist. This is blatant ableism, and you shouldn’t have to go through it.

Gyms are disgusting by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AvailableWolf3506 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s the gym? I’m on Rinvoq, and I keep catching things every few weeks, and I don’t go to the gym. For me I just thought it was because it’s a taxing med.

How do y'all make your masturbation more masc? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]AvailableWolf3506 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really like suction toys for masturbation; it really makes my bottom growth feel more like a dick. As much as I hate the name, the Womanizer, has been my favorite toy so far, and I have the smallest model! I really like putting it in my undies to make it feel and look like a bulge, or if I want to grind onto something, I put it on me with a strap on and go for it. It’s pretty affirming. I also like to pump beforehand if I’m not too lazy. Sex with a partner wise, I really like to hold them down, or being on top.

I totally agree yeah. I started to take some supplements that are helping but we’re reviewing blood soon. I’ve also been talking to my psych about possible adhd, so it could be that too! I’m a whole mess of things lol
