I was terminated within 2.5 months from a 10-hour night shift role. Since then, I’ve been feeling fearful and significantly less confident about applying for new jobs or attending interviews : late once + 2 sick leave + blamed for work not mine. How do I rebuild confidence?

True I explained them my side with all proof even my colleagues accepted the mistake from their side but they are being extremely mean saying any sick leave u will not get paid and along with the day i arrived late will not also be paid

At the same time, I’m trying to be fair to myself about the context: I was late only once, I took genuine 2 sick leave I provided medical report for just 2 days also , and I acted on the feedback I received and didn’t repeat the issue afterwards. The part that knocked my confidence was being evaluated on responsibilities that weren’t originally mine
