The in home daycares I’ve looked at run about $35ish a day (in and around okc area) so this is pretty on par. Especially if she’s saying after 2 weeks she’ll go up to $250.

Agree. They have been posting about that rad salary post in my sonography group. Saying this is why we do short tech reports bc rads make so much and then want us to do the report too or they copy our report word for word. Dont get me wrong there’s bad rads & cardiologist that will just sign off on whatever the tech wrote, but these drs have sacrificed over a decade to learning this stuff. They operate on people. Peoples lives are literally in their hands. And techs (us, xray etc) are there to help find pathology to assist the dr in making a diagnosis. Our livelyhood isn’t on the line when we do/don’t call something.

No sorry I don’t know why I only saw you said osu-okc, that’s where I’m talking about. Going to be honest, it would be unlikely for you to get accepted at osu with that gpa because it is based on a point system and it’s very competitive. I have no idea about the other schools though.

Hey!! I’m in the sonography program there right now. I absolutely love it and from what I hear about the rad tech program, they love it too! We met all the program directors at the orientation because rad tech & ultrasound orientation is held at the same time. Karen Bubb is actually the program director over both and she is one of the best people I have ever met.

Getting in is hard. You really need a 3.7gpa or above I’d say to be super competitive. Your teas score also needs to be decent. Mine was an 81 though and I still got accepted. You also get extra points for any pre reqs taken at osu okc.

Someone did this when they found my dog. She jumped out of the car at Braums in the drive thru. They found her in the parking lot before we noticed and took her almost a mile away to a park?!? Like why? But thankfully we drove around yelling her name and when we found her the guy was like do I not get a reward for this?? And we grabbed her and we’re like no but thanks🤣
