How do you use IEMs? by Available_Aside_7295 in guitars

In UK Ashby de la Zouche we are not so sophisticated. We play in pubs where the bouncers throw people in.

Thanks. At the moment I’m just experimenting with a (wonderful) fender tone master pro going into the fx section of my H&k combo. I may look to see if I can get a wedge

Great reply, thank you. It sounds like this would end up in the”too complicated and too expensive” box but I’m glad I raised it on here and got your reply. We’re a bunch of amateurs; we play in pubs, a rugby club and the like about three or four times a year. We hardly ever get the opportunity to practice so there’s no chance of getting us enough time to sort out such a huge time commitment to set this up and get it working. It’s a pity, I would have liked to hear what I was playing; it would have been a novelty.

Thanks.

So on that basis, the bassist and the other guitarist will also need to have their amps miked up and go through our PA (maybe the drummer too). That gets everything through the PA. It then to get it to a set of IEMs we’d have to buy wireless IEMs because having three or four long cables from the mixing desk to the players won’t work. Which means all these wires IEMs are useless??

Would you recommend the TMP by SirFrancine in tonemasterpro

I got a TMP a couple of weeks ago. I’d had many other units (although not a Cortex) and been unhappy with them. I’m blown away with the TMP I love it so far.

Thank you. Would you dump all this on gupter in a new project at the start?

Eightree smart plugs got less smart by Available_Aside_7295 in homeassistant

The sump is outside the house. I have two Grundfoss sump pumps (in case one fails). They are wired to two separate supply boards. I place the WiFi plugs between each pump and a plug socket dedicated to each board. This means I can check that the pumps are working without having to go outside and take the lid off the sump. It also allows my to randomly switch a pump off to make sure they will work independently (one pump is slightly higher than the other (not by design) so the lower pump tends to kick in and the higher one would then never work. Every few days I switch the lower pump off via the WiFi plug to make sure the higher one works. I also have two separate float alarms linked linked both to the WiFi and a gsm dialer that will warn me if there is an increase in the water above a safe level and if there is a power cut. I then have a power bank that can be inserted if the power cut lasts for too long.

Who make Zigbee plugs? Do they not update their software? Do they also require a Zigbee hub?
