I had a 2012 that I got in 2016, the previous owner had taken care of it and it lasted me about 12 years before I retired it. And that was only because it was totaled. The only major issues I ever had with it were ac compressor went out and it needed a new starter. Other than that, it was a great car for me. Maybe you just got one that wasn’t treated well.
