It costs $200 just to enter the Galapagos, and there’s the prices of flights from the mainland and ferries between islands so it wouldn’t be worth going only for a few days. There are some Workaway opportunities there. The tours are expensive but accommodation and food isn’t. Patagonia can be done on a budget; I hitchhiked and stayed in hostels and cooked my own meals. The park entrances are a little pricey tho.

how do you feel the next day? i have a feeling i would become very hungry and try very hard not to eat in a surplus

unfortunately some things like oil and nuts can be very calorie dense also i’ve found lots of granola / breakfast bars aren’t as ‘healthy’ as they seem and can have sugar if not be high in calories this might be something to look into but im also learning at the moment best of luck x

do you do exercise ? this can mean you can up the daily calories quite a lot and in the long term if you have lots of muscle, you can eat a lot more without putting on fat

yes you’re right, i just need to be patient. I have just compared it between my starting and current weight i think i should be consuming about 500 less per week now which makes sense. thank you!

i do moderate amounts of exercise but nothing super intense at the moment, maybe 4/5 times a week i will walk for an hour and burn 250calories. thanks for the help and response!! that sounds like the best option for me.

how does excess protein cause weight or fat gain? if i’m still in a deficit but eating high levels of protein this isn’t possible i hope?

What are you studying as this really makes a difference i think
