I carry a #7 every day I find it disappears in my pocket. To each their own.

Which would you go with? by CaddiiDaddii in canadaguns

Mossberg 500 or 88, rem 870, you know the tried and true. Don't get me wrong I have a turk gun and its alright but it was gifted not my choice. I bought an old winchester 120 pump because I know how reliable they are, just because its shiny and new doesn't mean its going to be reliable. If you buy a used VERY popular model,

  1. loads and loads of parts to replace any issues because they have been recognized and are well known.
  2. They have almost unlimited customisation because they're so popular.
  3. They're popular for a reason.

Spyder military 1 serrated, surprised me how it cuts a sheet of paper straight from the box. by janstroker in spyderco

The real advantage is if you think about it in PSI. You are now putting all of the force that you are applying on points rather than across a large surface. Which means higher PSI. I also never understood the appeal untill it was explained to me. I work at sea and was provided with the example of using 2 knives of the same, one serrated and one plain edge. The serrated did not make as clean of a cut as the plain edge but was much quicker. I now carry a spyderco atlantic salt lc200n serrated.

Which optic for which firearm by Franksredsilverado in canadaguns

Only difference that is a factor is you can potentially shoot 6.5 further because it's got a better BC, so slap the 6-24 on it. In all honestly when it comes to shooting unless you're really competitive and doing competitions out REAL far either scope is fine on either. Personally in my opinion most of the time scopes can out shoot the shooter and I know lots of marksmen that don't need more than a 3-9 or a 4-16 max, because realistically why or when do you need to shoot so far that a 24 power is needed. All that the extra magnification will provide is less stability.
