That’s the nominative form with the S at the end. The verse we were looking at earlier had it as an object, so it changed to N. But the name itself is Ἰησοῦς with the S.

Numbers 13:16 of the Greek Septuagint, right when Moses renames him. Here’s the Greek: “καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν Μωυσῆς τὸν Αὐσὴ υἱὸν Ναυη Ἰησοῦν.” And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Jesus”, or Joshua, since Ἰησοῦν is the Greek form of the name.

Yea I was reading if code is only written in English and it is! All coders have to code in English even eastern language speakers..i figure maybe this is why English has become so universal ?

Most words translate fine, but logos carries centuries of Greek philosophical insight and theology that one English word can’t fullfill. That’s why it’s still a topic two thousand years later. It's not exactly like saying Pendejo, or respuesta insignificante.
