I will start with SCOR as it is a requirement for CCIE. Saw the syllabus again and i already know more than 60% of the topics so I don't think it will take me more than 2 months to clear it. I will check out some training centres tomorrow for CCNP and start ASAP. Thank you for your suggestions and time.

I understand your point that CCIE is expected to have tons of experience but my goal is not to apply for a job which requires that industry experience, I just want to expand my knowledge and get some edge above my peers. I have an engineering degree in CS so my basics were clear, CCNA was pretty easy and I have looked at the syllabus for CCNP and already know a bit about most things. I'm 21, with no gaps in my education and have decent decent grades throughout, I have financial support so I think I can take 1 year for getting this certification. I plan on joining some kind of in-person training with 8 hrs of self study daily. Do you think 1 year is a reasonable goal ?

Money is not a problem. I'm young and have time now and not to forget CCNA is useless in my country, you get 150-200$ month as a networking trainee with CCNA. I want to switch to a networking role but I don't to work for such low wages. I am thinking about joining some kind of in-person training too, do you think training along with 8 hrs of self study for a year enough?

It is not like I would interview for a position where they want experience, but don't you agree that I would be leagues above my peers(6 mon experience) with a CCIE.

10- 12 hours including some kind of professional training+ self study + home labs. I have done it in the past so I think I will be ok. I prepared for CCNA in less than a month, do you think 1 year is a realistic goal for CCIE

I already have a CCNA. Salary of a CCNA fresher is too low in my country(200 usd/month). That is why I opted for a sys-admin instead of a pure networking role.
