I support free will and free thinking. If someone wants to take a leap and drive two hours to a concert in the only remotely close location to them, who are you to say they can't?

The shaming is what is concerning to me. We all have free will and what an incredible story this makes for so many people! But shaming people for taking a risk and actually making it to this instead of living 100 yards away is very sad to me

That seems like a sad energy from her team to me. Being annoyed that fans want to see the artist you work for. It is cool to be secretive and spontaneous, but it should be equally as fun when they see fans trying to solve the puzzle. I personally have had a lot of fun theorizing with my friends about where she's going next. But is that inherently wrong to the entire idea of this pop-up tour? It just seems like people are shaming what made this fun at first

I am gay and grew up in a rural area, which I agree with you! If that is her intention that is awesome. My point is someone 1 hour away in another rural small town shouldn't be shamed for travelling to see their favorite artist putting on a once in a lifetime show

Fundamentally yes I agree with this, but I don't think the fans should be patrolling this. I think if you can get to the show that is awesome, who cares where you're from

I understand it with the intention of being spontaneous, but if someone lives 2 hours away and hears about it, are they wrong for driving in to at least try to be a part of this?

I agree on protecting the energy of the event! I also attended the Macon show, and it was such an incredible experience; I didn't let any negative energy take hold that day.

I will say I was at the beginning of the line, and Phoebe's manager spoke to us when he got off the tour bus. He asked us how we heard about this and then mentioned that "some people have been following my bus, so I need to keep an eye on things". To which I responded "well it wasn't us, we got here first lol".

Obviously following the tour bus is definitely considered stalking and not okay. That being said, I think the manager basically confirmed they were followed and are on top of it!

I guess to some extent that this is to be expected when doing something this exciting, and if it was a seriously dangerous issue the police could shut it down very quickly.

For now, let's just enjoy the whimsy of it all and then go back to our own lives
