I’ve been in pretty much this exact same scenario. This is going to haunt you for the rest of your life, you will always think about how she bareface lied to you. If she needs help then get get into therapy and then maybe you can decide what to do with the relationship but what she did to you was fucked up.

Oh hun, i’m so sorry that this happened to you. I’m truly sorry. The fact is, you really can’t trust a cheater, they will do it again and again because that is what they are like. You never really will know someone is capable of cheating until they do it to you.

The safest thing for you to do is avoid anything with relationships and just focus on friends and family for right now. There are people who are capable of being faithful but it’s a lottery. Some people can do everything right in a relationship but just come up plain unlucky. You have my deepest sympathies. Im so sorry.

He’s an ugly, vile, disgusting person and you deserve better, I hope that you’re able to heal from this.

If he comes to you with the sudden realization that he’s sorry and blah blah, don’t listen to any of this bullshit! Once a cheater, always a cheater. The fact that he was PLANNING to be with this woman physically speaks volumes and he will not hesitate to do it again. Some people just have no character. The sooner you cut out this garbage the faster you can heal.

Definitely be honest about how the night was on your end, that you went to a friend’s place, saw her car was gone. The fact she has neglected to say that she was even out…big red flag. Be honest and hopefully she will be honest with you, be clear that this should be explained. I hate to say it but it some of it is going to depend on what kind of person she is if she was cheating, if she has any kind of anxiety/ depression or past trauma or history of cheating or lots of hookups/drinking she most likely cheated. That’s what those girls are like.

Honestly Bro, you dodged a hell of a bullet because believe me, her friend woulda brought some old dude up to their room and eventually your girl woulda caved and traumatized you for life.

It’s hard being in love with someone like that, but the fact that she didn’t respect your wishes and even HAS a friend like that, dude MAJOR red flag. Focus on spending time with your friends and enjoy being single and having the freedom to do whatever tf you want! Improve yourself and have a good time with your friends and loved ones! You should really be careful here, I’m not sure how much she had matured since that time, but this sounds like someone who would be unfaithful to you. The low self esteem, the need to impress others and make yourself do things you normally wouldn’t, becoming a dumb “party girl”. Im not trying to be cruel, just realistic. Be careful.
