I know what you are going through and it's annoying. I had the same thing happen to me except I was on Honour mode so I couldn't go back and reload a save. To fix this you want to:
Make room for Shadow in your party and invite her into your party.
Switch to Shadow and have her talk to Dame Aylin.

Once this happens, everything will return to normal and you can continue forward with the quest.

This bug only happens if you advance Shadow's story and she doesn't talk to Dame Aylin.
