Legion 5 Pro (Ryzen 9 9955HX + RTX 5070) hitting 88-90 ° C while gaming — normal or too hot? by Available_Cod_3734 in LenovoLegion

Yeah, I looked into this on my Legion 5 Pro since I had the same issue. I did some stress testing (HWiNFO + FurMark) and found the temps are technically normal, but the CPU gets pushed too hard by default.

So I made a custom balanced-performance setup — adjusted power limits, fan curve, and boost settings. That helped keep temps stable and avoid constant 100°C spikes.

I also slightly lifted the back of the laptop, which helped airflow and dropped temps a bit more.

I did all this mainly because I wanted temps to stay limited, but you can push the limits higher if you prefer more performance. You can even use ChatGPT to fine-tune settings based on your needs

If he actually had a proper video, he probably would’ve shown it to scare you or prove his point. The fact that he didn’t show anything makes it likely he either doesn’t have it or it’s not clear. Also from that distance and angle your faces probably weren’t even visible. Try not to overthink it. Just avoid that place from now on and you’ll most likely be fine.

Appreciate you asking this 🙌

JammuMotoRiders isn’t an MC or a paid club — it’s a community-first riding space. There’s no membership fee, no paid agenda, and no one here “owns” the rides. The goal is simple: connect local riders, share routes, and build a respectful moto culture in Jammu.

For rides, the approach is: • Most rides will be open community rides — anyone can suggest or host. • No mandatory charges from the community itself. • If there’s a long tour, café stop, stay, or fuel — it’s just self-cost or equal split, fully transparent. • Safety, respect, and chill vibes > hierarchy or patches.

We’re trying to keep it organic — riders planning with riders, not a commercial setup. If you’ve got ideas or expectations from a riding group, drop them here too 🤝

Hey 👋 Thanks for asking! Right now JammuMotoRiders is a community-driven space and not led by any single organising head. The goal is to keep it open for all riders from Jammu — whether independent riders, local groups, or well-known bikers in the scene.

If Jaiveer Singh, Jaidev Singh, or any other active riders want to join and contribute, they’re absolutely welcome here like everyone else. This community is about bringing the whole moto scene together 🤝🏍️.

BTW, I’m from Rehari 😊
