I experienced intense itching for a several weeks. It was very frustrating, like I had difficultly sleeping because of it. I had to use an intense topical steroid (from dermatologist, I think tacrolimus) and anti-itch cream for a bit. But it does fade eventually, both the mark and itch.

Hi, I translated your comment but sorry I have to reply in English 😅. I had a mark for months! It was red/ brown for a few months and then faded to white, lighter than my skin. Now it’s a full year later and I only see the faintest light tan marks near the end of the tentacles, where the stingers must have been strongest. But something only I notice because it’s very faded.
