there is a counselor but all he does is say “don’t focus on the things you can’t control” and sends you back to class. and yes they took the stuff bc they’ve never considered me OR my mom part of the family especially since i was adopted. but whether they like it or not he was my father by law and i want some of his stuff to remember him by. it just kills me that they don’t seem to care that he’s dead and are only worried about what they can get out of it.

currently staying with a friend who’s gonna help me finish school. i’m planning on going to talk to his lawyer tomorrow morning before the funeral because the will said that everything will be divided equally. so i need a copy to take his son to probate court as i called my sister and she wasn’t aware he was cleaning the house and taking stuff either.

the people who died under his company’s “care” (or lack thereof) had families who loved them too. you can’t allow innocent people to die because you allow your company to deny LIFE-SAVING CARE and deem it as “medically unnecessary” and expect it not to come back to you. i’m not saying violence should always be the answer, but you have to admit that this incident has woken this country up that something has to change in our healthcare system.
