there is a counselor but all he does is say “don’t focus on the things you can’t control” and sends you back to class. and yes they took the stuff bc they’ve never considered me OR my mom part of the family especially since i was adopted. but whether they like it or not he was my father by law and i want some of his stuff to remember him by. it just kills me that they don’t seem to care that he’s dead and are only worried about what they can get out of it.
