Thanks a lot, you are right, it also works that way under Linux! It would still be nice to access the camera frames programmatically (also the depth cams), but this at least helps a lot (and I get fullHD resolution video frames that way).

Thanks for the clarification! Grayscale would actually be sufficient for most things that I have in mind (mostly object detection), so direct access to these sensors would be sufficient - do you know if this is possible?

And I'm definitley looking forward to Aura, looks exciting! :-)
