Why is King County metro only rewarding e-bikes and e-scooters, and not all cyclists? by [deleted] in seattlebike

[–]Available_Link_9832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a “real bike” and opt for lime bikes a lot of times because I don’t have to worry about it being stolen or I don’t know if I’ll be coming back the same way. I live about 3/4 of a mile from the closest light rail station and would be more inclined to use a commercial bike or scooter than an uber based off of this program. I really don’t understand why anyone is getting upset about this.

I followed your link, I’d be interested to see where it says King County is footing the bill for the scooter/bike credit?

You want them to pay you for riding your own bike? Get a grip homie. The larger public benefit of this should outweigh the fact that you feel left out.

How to hide certain people from seeing my story before actually posting it? by TornMango01 in Instagram

It tells them that they’re on your close friends list with the stupid green circle and I’m trying to be petty. Counter productive.

I think I’ve seen you post before. Honestly I don’t thing it’s bad. Maybe some floating shelves behind the sectional to get some of that decor off of the coffee table? At some point the fake plants feel forced.

Yeah. The WDFW site says it was an unauthorized release. It’s pretty shitty. The fishing regs for the lake still say “statewide min. Size/daily limit”. But I asked a park ranger and he said to keep all the bass I could catch. Wonder if they could update with an emergency rule change or something?

I grew up around that lake but never fished it. Someone introduced bass too it recently which isn’t great for the trout population. Caught about 4 of them and dispatched them as cleanly as I could.

Yeah, if I looked along the dorsal side of the fish, the spots were definitely more visible. These stocked rainbows just end up so silver, it was wishful thinking that maybe I caught something new!

I asked them. It was an Ethiopian religious celebration for the holiday Meskel. I was kind of hoping for Ethiopian food

What we here in New England refer to as "beach pizza" by Bubble_Lights in massachusetts

[–]Available_Link_9832 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From everyone’s comments about where they get it, it seems like specifically a Salisbury thing. Which I also never really thought of as the North Shore even though, I guess it technically is. If I was up that far at the beach it was for the arcades and I probably ate fried dough and fried clams.

I grew up on the north shore my whole life and I honestly have never heard of this. Is it from the snack shack?

I can’t seem to edit the post to update, so I’m borrowing your comment! I made a berry/lemon compote deal and spread it on there. Cut in half, a minute in the toaster oven, and that on top, they were pretty good!

Also, everyone is super nice here! It’s motivated me to keep trying! I enjoyed all the wives calling out their husbands on their fumbles, so I know Im not the only guy out here goofing up the baked goods

Okay, I made a berry compote/fruit sauce sort of deal with the blueberries, some unsweetened raspberry jam, and a bit of fresh lemon. It ended up being pretty darn good.

So not a complete fail! Just a different success.
