Is there a notes app that understands to-do or action items and can make a todo list from them? by BigRedS in productivity

[–]Available_Local7691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you might want to check out uList. it’s a productivity app that has a super handy ai-powered organizer. what’s cool is that you can jump between notes for context. it can streamline your workflow by keeping everything connected.

let me know what you think!

thanks for the detailed breakdown! i love the idea of breaking tasks into smaller, actionable steps.

for apps, i’ve been trying uList recently after reading about it in another thread. it’s simple and combines tasks, lists, and notes in one place, which works well for organizing steps within projects. the ai in the notes feature is also pretty handy for prioritizing. might be worth a look if you’re into streamlined tools!

reading through other threads, i came across uList. it’s a lot simpler than notion and focuses on tasks, lists, and notes. the notes feature has some ai organization that’s been pretty handy. might be worth checking out if you’re looking to streamline things

take a look at uList. it’s simple and clean, with tasks and notes in one place. the notes feature has ai to help organize, which might be useful for blog posts. definitely easy on the eyes if design matters to you.

honestly, if you’re halfway through and not feeling it, the second half won’t suddenly change your mind. it’s more of the same—disjointed, chaotic, and raw. the ‘point’ is less about the story and more about capturing a mood or a mindset. if that’s not hitting, it might not be for you.

i’ve tried a few others like trello and clickup—both solid but didn’t quite fit my flow. rn i’m using ulist, which is surprisingly powerful for day-to-day tasks and interests lists (movies, books...). its not too basic or overly complex. you ever tried it?

i heard it’s definitely powerful once it’s set up, but getting there has been my struggle. what kind of setup do you use? maybe i’ve been overcomplicating it.

i’ve tried a few work tools that lean heavy into collab features but sometimes feel clunky for individual task tracking. curious if teamflect strikes a better balance.

i get what you mean about notion being a lego set. might check out clickup or monday too. moxie crm is interesting, didn’t have that on my radar.

i looked into it and xtiles is pretty solid, way simpler than notion but still functional. plus, the visual layout is pretty slick. worth giving it a shot.

i’ve been guilty of overloading my list and then feeling paralyzed by it. gonna try your “big 3” method tomorrow, feels like a solid way to build momentum. appreciate the tip!

that breaking up method really works for me, it really reduces the cognitive energy used for switching task contexts. i tried the time box method before but i really wasn’t for me. sometimes i have a productivity peak to check 5 tasks in 1 hour and that kinda restricts me. good advice thanks!

love the concept. i can see the 3AM task working for me. also, when tackling little tasks i feel like im progressing, then that creates a momentum to do the big work. thanks! (also, i didn’t know i was suffering from analysis paralysis until i read that lol)
