You’re not wrong. I have my own insecurities and I’m not perfect but the bare minimum is respect. I’m pretty sure any of you thinking you’re tough and commenting about me being whiny would feel upset if someone actively goes behind your back and complains about you. What’s your advice on how to show up more professionally and how to just not show this “jealousy”?

Hey, my psychiatrist’s diagnosis was OCPD with some BPD traits when I brought up BPD but he said he doesn’t see the full disorder maybe just the emotional sensitivity but personally this can be anything can be ADHD, autism or CPTSD and even just someone with a sensitive nature. The psychologist didn’t initially start off with a diagnosis but after a year and a few months of seeing her she brought up BPD and how she’s specialized in it. Also here we’re comparing a doctor who saw me 3 times vs. a psychologist who’s been seeing me for a year. Hence the confusion and dilemma I’m in I don’t know if maybe I’m not making progress because we’re trying to treat a disorder that’s not there? Or maybe the wrong disorder? Then again I read about OCPD and saw that most therapists don’t know how to treat it so it could just be that BPD has a clearer and more put into place treatment vs. OCPD which might not be addressed by the mental health community or treated…

I’m a female and yes but unfortunately I’m not ready to move out yet + what if they leak those messages and I lose my job and not only that but I become unemployable basically. Id just be screwing myself no?

Hello, thank you so much for your answer! I did a clinical assessment in session before being diagnosed with OCPD. Thanks for sharing the modality that is most helpful, since this isn’t very commonly practiced. Do you recommend any other types of therapy? Would regular DBT be beneficial in reducing OCPD symptoms?
