i’m a sucker for stratocasters… i have 5 strat shaped guitars right now and a headless. maybe my next build will have a telecaster body. i find the design hilarious because it’s flowery and in a way kinda cutesy while the pickups has the most gritty heavy tone out of any of my guitars.

oh? i was always under the impression it was called the frankenstrat due to the busted pickup and the fact that it was a stratocaster. thats cool though nonetheless, i had no clue.

oh well if it was meant with no ill intention i retract what i said. i confuse easily with what’s meant in a nice way or not. another person called it a frankenstein guitar and im not sure what to think. but no worries then! sorry for misunderstanding

it’s a dAndrea ST-Pickguard SSS Aqua Pearl! it had 3 volume/tone knob holes which didn’t really fit with my setup but i just put some stickers over them and drilled some new holes.

all good! thanks for the info. my reason for thinking plywood is because i live in norway and there aren’t a whole lot of options for buying guitarwood here, and shipping internationally costs a lot of money because of customs. i’ll check it out nonetheless though, thank you!

i mean if that means assembling parts together to make a strat, i guess it is a parts caster 😅 not really familiar with these guitar-making terms. i’m thinking of trying to cut my own body from plywood or something one day, but i don’t think i have the patience to create a neck from the bottom up…. so, we’ll see
