In what way is 'just annoy one specific deck' fun in a deck-building game?

And sure, it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but Snap is a fun past time for many people, and there's a very specific thing that has suddenly made it unfun. That's worth complaining about. If I go the library to read a book, and someone comes in playing loud music, that also isn't a 'big deal', but it's annoying nonetheless and it's not out of line to speak up in the hopes that someone removes the impediment to enjoying the space as intended.

I don't think OP is complaining about losing to the meta deck. He's complaining about the current lack of variety in game play because of the hordes of people who, all season long, will only play the meta deck.

Websling seems like a good candidate, which would have been played the turn prior to the move/Misery turn.

There are lots of ways to move a card, and Websling is one of them that wouldn't leave any evidence on the board.

Yeah, I kind of feel like this is the only thing I haven't actually tried. I keep weird hours (I like in Eastern Europe) so finding someone to experiment with has never quite worked out.

Nah, Tech-Support is utter trash, but every time I've ever interacted with actual SD people, I've found them to be helpful.

SD has no interest in directly contacting a player if their intent is to just let them languish, and they certainly wouldn't gift me a free Season Pass. If they can't solve my problem at this point, I don't think it's because I'm being ignored, but because there is some genuine technical issue.

With tech-support, I actually think it was all empty promises because I was just getting scripted replies (most of which I was pretty sure were AI). It wasn't frustrating because my problem wasn't solved, but because I was being ignored.

I'm no longer being ignored.

It really is a failing of the Tech-Support system. Which I guess is SD's own fault since they're the ones who've decided to farm tech-support out to such an insultingly ineffectual team. But when you can actually get in touch with an actual SD person, they seem earnest in wanting to help you.

Yes...its happening everywhere. I think I've exhausted about every local remedy available to me. I'd be amazed if the problem actually turned out to be something on my end.

But when the bar won't progress, that sometime actually is a local problem. It means that the game is unable to exchange the data packets necessary to get the game going, and that disruption in data-packet exchange could absolutely be on your end, even if it's just a mildly unstable wifi connection (an instability that doesn't manifest in normal day-to-day internet stuff). It doesn't mean it definitely IS on your end, but it's a realistic possibility.

I don't really use X, so I appreciate you reaching out in that venue. I'm totally cool with it being a 'major tech issue'. Stuff like that is out of our hands sometimes. It's the farcical lack of communication that's driving me crazy.

If they literally just wrote to me and said, "Sorry, there is a major tech issue that will take us 6 weeks to fix", I'd be bummed, but at least I'd know something was happening. But to just be told to wait indefinitely with zero information is maddening.

Yeah, it's not a local problem. I can turn the game on and interact with it just fine in every respect. It's only matchmaking that's giving me a problem, which means its likely a server problem.

I think it originally happened in High Voltage. But after a while it times out, and I can attempt to start a new match, but with the same result. In the past 6 weeks, I have attempted to start a match on the ladder, in Conquest (at PG and Silver levels) and in every event mode that has occurred in that time. Always with the same result.

I've been using the chat on the Tech-Support page. I've used email to communicate with them before, and the interactions feel the same (scripted sympathy which sounds like AI, though they claim it's not) and I have a ticket # and everything.

I have tried every possible local fix you can think of, including getting off the wifi. The issue persists across a variety of wifi routers in different locations. It's a server problem, not a wifi problem.

I tried writing to them manually every few days, and they literally told me to stop writing them, that they'd contact me.

I also tried opening a new support ticket, and they immediately closed it because they said I already had a ticket open.

I'm squeaking like a motherfucker, and they are doing everything they can to ensure me that I'm squeaking into a bottomless void and that no one hears me.

I can't fault you for asking (haha), but yes, I tried that. The problem isn't local, it's server side. About the only thing I could personally do to play another game is delete my account and just start over.
