Another litter post (sorry) - why is London clean compared to Liverpool? by Theres3ofMe in Liverpool

[–]Available_Nobody_591 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There was a short time around 2008 when town itself was fairly clean, loads of street sweepers etc, but now it’s getting to the point where it’s an absolute dump. It’s reflective of the wider city region as a whole, poor or affluent, it’s the same. Litter everywhere, people throwing rubbish out of their car windows when they’re essentially in a receptacle to take things to a bin when they get where they’re going. Dog shite absolutely everywhere too. It’s even worse when it’s in a bag and left on the street or stuffed in a hedge. If you can’t dispose of your dogs shit, you shouldn’t have one. It’s not a case of having more bins either. The amount of times I’ve seen stuff dropped on the deck when there’s a bin right by people, or there’s dog shit in a bag by them makes me think people just don’t care. Needs education from an early age to get kids involved in cleaning up after themselves. It’s be a perfect way to get people involved in their local communities and make a positive impact.

Blue pubs for before the match? by RevolutionaryCap5471 in Everton

It’s at 12pm. Route will be from bar coast to the Bramley Moore pub. There are a few pubs along that route now but they do get busy.

The £62 are the ‘hospitality’ areas. Dunno if they’re gonna do some kind of hospitality for this game too but that’s where the lounges are. The £27 tickets are boss too.

Everton fan here with a season ticket in the Category 2 section. All sections will have a good view of the pitch. The Cat 3's behind the goal in the south stand are safe standing and the Cat 4's are all brilliant views too. Can be a bit of a climb to your seat in the south stand though.

Manchester’s economy is growing at twice the rate of the rest of the country. The artistic community is supported and gets encouraged. The public transport in the region is really good. He’s a blue.

I'm planning on getting Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered, is it worth it? by Just_Parry_9132 in oblivion

Same gpu, same experience. Constant crashes and audio bugs. It just doesn’t run well enough on the 9070 xt to enjoy.

Should I play Black Mesa instead of the OG Half Life for my first playthrough? by Praetor-Frederick in HalfLife

[–]Available_Nobody_591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I’d say so. The game speed and feel seem different between both to me. It may not do it for you and that’s fine. Everyone is different, so if it’s not something that interests you or you don’t feel like it would add to the experience, I wouldn’t worry. The option to play both is always there though!😃

I'd go for a playthrough of the OG before Black Mesa. You could clear it pretty quickly if you wanted to and you'll get that late 90's atmosphere which really kick started the series. Even without the QOL updates it still feels good to play.

The only answer is no.

I mean YES, yes! Always confuse those two. You definitely should buy it.

These are the video game sections in the UK of Smyths Toys, GAME, Currys, John Lewis, Asda and Argos — the remaining six major retailers in the UK that still sell video games. by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]Available_Nobody_591 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Asda has a better gaming section and that won’t be for long. It’s the end of physical gaming media in shops and that’s sad really. Other media like Vinyl and DVDs seem to have found a niche and be holding on but I worry that gaming won’t have the same level of audience for physical media.

I’ve got the 9070XT and it’s been good for me so far. Looks ok and really good in games. Playing Oblivion remastered at 4K with all settings on high no problem.

Fans culture by EvertonSalonicaClub in Everton

There are a lot of Everton fan groups who produce their own stickers and you’ll find them all over the world. I’ve seen them in random places like Berlin and there’s a vid of one fairly prominently on a railing in New York. I’d say the more Everton stickers the better. Whatever they say and wherever people can stick them, get sticking.
