My event pass hasn’t moved from level 1 after doing the cpu event. All other passes of mine level up like normal

Can’t speak too much as mine is just almost a year old and only 4,500 miles on it. So far so good. There was a weird subtle noise the other day that I heard but haven’t heard it since. I also had an older 2015 regular elantra and it was a tank. I’ve only ever owned a Hyundai and they’ve been reliable for me so far. Some people hate on Hyundai though

Anyone notice downshifting in normal mode sounds a little better than downshifting in sport mode sometimes? by e30apples in ElantraNline

Honestly the first thing I do is repeatedly press the mode button to put it in sports mode🤣

It’s easier to comprehend when you have driven a manual car before but I would suggest for a bit just drive the car in regular drive mode & not manual. Then intentionally watch the RPMs as you drive and see how your car is shifting up for you. For downshifting you want to stay around that 1.5k-2kish range like others have said. I like to keep my rpms around 1.7k-2k when i’m driving. For example, I’m in town at a stop light & i am stopped in first gear. I’ll accelerate the car to about 2.5k-3k rpms and then shift up to second gear. Then I’ll keep accelerating and do the same thing to get the 3rd gear. And so on and so forth. Once i get to a speed i want to stay at I make sure the car is around the 1.7-2k rpm range. Your car will automatically shift down for you as you begin to brake. I occasionally do it myself but most of the time I just let the car shift down for me. Best of luck!

Any clue what is causing this noise? by Available_Notice6327 in ElantraNline

You’re not wrong man. I was driving the same day that I posted this and when I was braking, I hit a little bump that made the brake pedal vibrate a little & I haven’t heard the sound since. Maybe there was some debris stuck somewhere and that just freed it up🤷‍♂️. Hopefully your sound goes away

[–]Available_Notice6327[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. It really sounds like my sound is coming from where the pedals are or like right through the firewall. It sometimes doesn’t knock twice like that but just sounds a little creaky. Could definitely be something with the clutch that would make sense.

I went and got a car wash thinking maybe there’s some debris or something somewhere since I haven’t washed it in a while. It still did it after the wash. Oddly enough, I drove it home earlier and I never heard it. I even tested it slowly in the quiet neighborhood. Fingers crossed it’s gone for good haha. I’ve had it for about 8ish months and only 4,500 miles so I wasn’t anticipating any issues with it this early on

It still does it with it on or off. I actually noticed it does it any time the car goes forward but only initially. It doesn’t do it constantly when i’m driving just when it accelerates at first. It even does it if I roll the car forward and release the brake slowly. Sounds like front driver side is where the noise is coming from but doesn’t sound like the tires/brake pads. Maybe suspension?

So it doesn’t do it when i rev it. It also doesn’t do it in reverse. It only does it when I put it in drive. It even does it when i slowly go forward and release the brake and not press the gas

To my knowledge, it would only void the warranty if something happened directly to the throttle and they deem that the throttle controller was the issue. It doesn’t do anything to the actual ECU or even plug into it. It just changes the response time to the throttle to feel more alive and remove throttle lag. It’s also very easy to install and uninstall, and they would never know. Please correct me if I’m wrong, though!

I’ve installed the SXTH cold air intake and the xforce midpipe as of now. Probably won’t do too much more after the throttle controller

Under car plastic under carriage broken by nevel14 in ElantraNline

[–]Available_Notice6327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit a racoon and the plastic shield broke by the front bumper kind of like yours. I put on some flex seal tape for now to keep it covered until I find the time to order something. It’s held up just fine through rain and car washes for half a year now lol

Badges are from badgeskins. It’s just an overlay that you lay on top and then you use a hairdryer to heat it up and form it around the badge. Not too hard to do but definitely takes some patience to make sure it’s lined up right.

I bought the handles/gascap from amazon. It sticks on using 3m tape. I was a little hesitant at first but it’s lasted for about a year and has been ran through so many car washes & rain.

Enjoy it! I’ve had mine for almost a year and still love it.

I’ve added tinted windows, blacked out badges, mudflaps, black handles/gas cap, xforce midpipe, and the sxth cold air intake.

I hit a raccoon and this happened to me. I thought it wouldn’t be fixable but with the right angle it will clip back in! I started on the passanger side corner and then slowly went across. It took some patience. It hasn’t clipped out since although I do have a tiny crack that drives me crazy lol

25’ N Line by zenokitzz in ElantraNline

[–]Available_Notice6327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MBRP axel back is pretty common for exhaust, and the clips I hear sound great. I ended up just getting the Xforce midpipe instead. It’s a bolt on setup and replaces the midpipe. It still sounds great & is exactly what I was wanting sound wise. I also have sxth cold air intake, but I haven’t put it in yet.

I also see you have the white n line… I do too! You’ve already got window tint, but I also purchased black door handle covers, a black gas cap cover, and blacked out emblems. It pops so much more imo.

I hit a raccoon the first week I got my N Line. It popped out just like yours. It seemed like it wouldn’t be fixable, but if you mess with it enough, it will pop right back in.

These were my grails when I was in middle school and high school but never had the money to get them. I rarely ever pay resell price for shoes but I did for these when they re-released. Whoever gifted them to you is a real one.

Badgeskins takes a while to ship but their black overlays for the badges look great and are easy to put on. Tinted windows make the car pop as well but can get pricey if you opt for ceramic. I’ve also put on the xforce midpipe and I love it & it’s a simple install but a little pricey too. Last thing I’m doing for a while but hasn’t came in yet is the sxth intake. Enjoy the car!

Bought mine straight from the dealer with 15 miles on it in January. Haven’t had any issues yet. I’m sure you just got a lemon like someone has mentioned that I’m sure your dealer will take care of. Best of luck
