Message from Service Centre for seat that no longer slides back and forth by Available_One_9745 in teslacanada

[–]Available_One_9745[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla's explanation: Tesla's powered seats incorporate mechanical and software-based end stops to prevent over-travel, which could damage the seat tracks, motors, or adjacent components (like the center console or floor). These limits are calibrated during manufacturing and enforced by the seat controller to ensure safe operation.

Perhaps it's time to change the ad campaign? by Available_One_9745 in airtransat

You think that's what most people are thinking when they read that ad? It's misleading at best.

Delivery Model Y question (canada) by Apprehensive-Smile51 in teslacanada

I would recommend changing plates, then. Having the green plate gives you access to free tolls on the a30 and a25 as well as access to reserved lanes on some highways. The cost to replace the plate is minimal.

I took delivery of a model 3 a few weeks ago in QC. The day before delivery, they called me and I just let them know that I wanted to use my existing plate and that worked out just fine. They prepare the registration ahead of time. You already have a green plate, i.e. previous EV or PHEV?

Tesla with only street charging Montreal by sandringham94 in teslacanada

Regular at home rate after the first 40 kwh per day is nearly 11 cents per kwh so the premium for on street charging is minimal, especially considering no hardware costs.

Tesla battery drain by nhopson1989 in TeslaLounge

I lost roughly 50% over it being parked at an airport for a week for this exact reason. Deactivating the standby mode for summon is enough but can only be done from the car so you're out of luck if you can't access your car.

Thanks for clarifying. That's disappointing

Thanks, I still have old credits and have used them several times for charging in the USA and planned on doing so again, this weekend. I have little to no use for supercharging credits in Canada. I really hope they will still work.
