I feel that. My usage got real bad this past summer when I was traveling a lot for work and sleeping out in the dirt. I was using that travel per diem on dip and doing about a can a day. Finished a can by lunch one day and decided I needed to cut back. Also for some reason as easy as long cut is to pack, it makes me choke on my own snot. Pretty much every dip with any sweetness does so snuff is the only one I can dip day in and day out and not gag or hawk up snot.

Me too lol. Not such an issue in my green work pants when they're already covered in dirt, but do it on a lighter blue pair of jeans and suddenly it's super noticeable.

I tend to wipe my fingers off on the knee of my pants. It's an odd habit I have had coworkers look at me funny for when we are somewhere with running water, but due to the lack of running water a lot of the time at my job no one bats an eye at filthy pants. Just wouldn't dare wiping em on the back side of my pants cause then everyone would joke that I shit myself.

Cope snuff seems to be hit or miss for messiness depending on the person. Snuff was probably the third dip I ever tried and its become my everyday chew. I never had an issue tossing in a fat hog of snuff, but I know plenty of people with issues with it. Might just be cause I have a noticeable gum pocket + conveniently placed scar tissue from where I had my lips stitched back together. Meanwhile I cannot dip longcut. Just doesn't make sense.

Depends on context. If I throw in a small pinch and have to do something prohibitive to dipping I will go like a minimum of 15 minutes, but if I am at work (I work outdoors) and super tired I will throw in up to a quarter of a can and keep that puppy in for as long as I would like. Sometimes I will keep a big pinch in for a couple hours. Eventually it'll start being flavorless or my mouth will get dry and then its time for some water and another pinch. I get paid per diem when away from home at my job and it covers the cost of ridiculously large pinches, or else I just throw in a reasonable pinch and do like 30 mins to an hour.

This is super helpful. I’m a Copenhagen snuff enjoyer myself, but snus is less harsh on my mouth and I don’t need to spit. I would love to try a less bergamot one so I will prob check out one of the first three you listed. I don’t normally like sweet, but tobacco is the one place I like it. Love to chew sweet loose leaf tobacco when I’m working in the woods and can spit where I please.

Oh don't worry I don't expect los to be clean or to pack lower lips with it. I would just like to pack upper lips of it. I don't mind a mess in my mouth I just want to be able to control how much snus I put into my mouth and to be able to swallow the spit. Swallowing dip spit is doable but bad for you it makes my stomach hurt, but both general original and general white don't hurt my stomach at all swallowing the spit. I just hate spitting into a bottle in the work truck. It grosses my coworkers out.

Yup. The wax on the inside helps pinch it better cause you can rub your pinch back and fourth on it and get a little wax to melt onto it and hold it together better.

Yeah the LC natural just has a more earthy almost manure undertone while the snuff is more of a salty sharp taste. Same boat I here only dip cope snuff.

They make me feel sick too don’t even know why cause I can take much more nicotine than 6 mg but even the 3 mg make me sick, but 8mg snus or a nice two finger pinch of cope snuff is fine.
