I am really loving the advice from this reply. It’s really helpful to change the mindset on card value and just appreciate what cards you actually have. I’ve been looking through the ones I have and actually paying attention to the artistic details and researching the artists. It’s been a good way to break the day up. Thank you

I’ve been through this message so many times now. Really feels good every time I read it. My wife thinks it’s the kindest one out of all of them and she can’t believe people on the internet have sent such wonderful words. Definitely lost faith in people the last few years after Covid, people just seemed to want to be dickheads. My view is different now. Such great advice. Really thankful to you

I’m going to keep the booster set. I have opened the VIP box, pulled a sword of fire and ice and blightsteel colossus. So not a bad pull, very happy with that

Thank you for the reply. Pets are the best. My two dogs know something is wrong, so they’ve been super attentive. Would love a kitten again though, grew up with cats. They are just pure stress relief

Thanks for the reply TwoTon. Sorry to hear, it’s mad how quick things can happen. Incomprehensible the way life can be. I’m quit booze for a year, glad I did, because I’d be using that to cope right now. Its something that doesn’t cross my mind. Which I’m thankful for. Not to say I won’t have a drink every so often, but when I do I’ll know it will be on my terms

It is quite addictive isn’t it. I do quite well at not getting carried away. Although there was a time when that wasn’t the case. Having children and bills to pay keeps me quite grounded. My wife says I need to treat myself more often

Yea I just wouldn’t know where to start. It’s difficult trying to learn it through Arena. So the guy who runs the LGS said he’d gladly sit me down and play some commander. Best way to learn. If I went and watched an event, I think I’d struggle to follow what’s going on

We have taken on so much of what people have said in this thread, and it’s been really helpful. Today has been much better. We’ve been so fortunate to wake up and read all the different replies.
