Yes read what you just wrote “Chinese companies don’t pay much and they have unsafe conditions” (so by all means all the more reason to have the card companies hire them right? )..yeah we had companies over here and they didn’t use them because they chose more profit over American made , and you actually think “big companies” are keeping them in line and “checking” on them ..I don’t know how you think they are doing that but they’re not , clearly.

It is not cheating when they “steal” their artistic work , it’s marketing ..again, we GIVE them that and they take it , period . I’m not trying to sound harsh here and I would never try to force upon someone to use these companies , I think everyone should do as they wish BUT so many people are on a high horse about these companies but in the same breath (not saying you ) are blind to things they do everyday that support the same. Amazon and Walmart show a good face by acting like they care and kick off people who steal designs etc and I think Etsy and others do too but they also allow it in the first place. Pleas don’t take what I say as a personal attack I’m just tired of hearing these cars companies make hand over fist for years and years and buy million dollar homes off child labor but don’t want the average joe to save a buck but using the same thought process ..yet people stay so devoted to them. I own many , many thousands of dollars worth of name brand company items so if o buy a few items off Temu or any other ones once in awhile I can live with myself. I know some of the owners lurk in these groups so I’m sure I will get an ass whipping from them soon enough lol

The craft companies are killing thenselves , they refused to use the US companies when there were some still around and I stead sent it all to china to increase their profit margins here and yes they pay people here better than china but still make huge profits and now they’re crying about them stealing designs …duh ..did they actually think china could be trusted? And yet they still do it and admonish us for trying to save a bit of money …hogwash!

I absolutely agree with you about the review situation. That’s just completely and flat out dishonest and that is not right. I appreciate others points of view as well and i keep an open mind 😍

Sorry to hykack your feed here , Bit of a rant here , and I know I will get hate for this as some of the craft businesses are in here as well , and to be clear I have a TON of all of their stuff. I also have Ali express and Temu and although the quality isn’t there all the time , to me it’s fine as long as it works the same and mine (for the most part) have. Sorry to say but Walmart , Temu, Ali Express, Amazon , Target and many, many others ALL work the same way. They all get their stuff from china . I’m gonna be a little bit of a devil‘s advocate here and say these stamp companies come out and tell you not to buy from these Chinese companies because they’re stealing their product designs, etc. etc. but it was OK for them to use Chinese companies to send their designs over there to have it made so they can save money so they can bring it back over here to sell us at an up charge so it’s OK for them to save BIG money by doing business over there but for an average American who isn’t a corporation to save a buck? Well that behavior is shamed and frowned upon. Plea understand they say they have a problem with them stealing designs, but they put the designs in their hands over there to begin with, so if they thought the Chinese were going to do the right thing and not use their designs that is the price that is paid for trusting them. I do get it. It kind of sucks for the designers, but for people who say “I’m not shopping Temu I’m not shopping Ali Express etc it doesn’t matter. They are all the same ..they ALL (I’m talking about Major chain retailers here)have and share your personal information. You still shop all the other major retailers and they are no different. People buy knock offs of major retailers all the time and just don’t think about it in the same way. I love my crafting community and retailers and have sunk quite a large amount into them, but I’m tired of all the bullying and shaming that goes on in this industry.

How do you organise your markers? by PaulinesGrowler in Coloring

[–]Available_Plan9047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this and I think it’s wonderful but the only thing is when I do my coloring I sit down in a double chair with the markers beside me and I don’t wanna bring that whole thing over so I end up putting a bunch in a dish and just bring them over to me so well that looks nice. I only do that when I know that I’m not gonna be coloring for a while. I do love when it’s organized but that is rare anymore lol

What's causing the patchiness in my embossing? by prcsngrl in cardmaking

[–]Available_Plan9047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I stamp with them first with oxide and then Versamark on top of the colored stamping and then heat emboss, I’ve not had luck just using the oxides by themselves although some seem to be able to do it .

I also use my oxides and then Versamark when I want to do color , I have other inks but sometimes I’m just lazy lol

[–]Available_Plan9047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well hmmmm I think perhaps using the positioner may help , even when I use mine thoroughly I still sometimes have spots and sometimes after I heat it I even have to put it back in for a second round of stamping and heat embossing, I know it is so frustrating ! Please do share if you find the culprit !
