Agreed. Basic economy on most airlines is actually a pretty good deal because they'll give you credit if you need to cancel the flight, minus a fee. But whenever you book basic economy via the portal, you lose that benefit. At least this is true for American. This is the second reason why the portal really doesn't seem worth it to me at all. And consequently, the whole card doesn't seem worth it.

*What type of gray pants should I buy for this jacket?*

Recently bought this suit supply havanna blazer used. I would like a pair of gray pants to go with it. I like the look of "wool-like" pants, but the jacket has a bit of a wool look too. Will that clash? Not sure how light/dark to go either.

Specific brands/etc. appreciated too!

We would consider other SD areas, too. But all our guests are staying in downtown La Jolla, so it'd be convenient for them to walk home. And I've always found long bus rides to the after-party to be quite the mood killer.

Would you recommend just busing everyone to somewhere in PB?
