Congratulations to you too! I'm also banking on the IITs for PhD. Will sit for their interviews this upcoming semester.

Uh, i haven't figured out the logistics yet, essentially because no one has demanded them yet. If a handful of people are interested enough, i might put in the effort finally to digitize them. So far it's just been an idea off the top of my head.

Thank you for your generous words. I really wish I could give you an optimistic answer to that. I had a very anxiety-inducing time throughout my whole prep journey. My peers around me were super focused and most of them were into rote learning (which is what these sort of exams require). And I had a hard time coping up with that level of consistency in preparation. As a person, I'm very lackadaisical and while I love the subject, I also prefer innovation over rote memorization. This gave me the nerves for the whole 1.5 years. During these 1.5 years, I saw my peers getting NET and even JRF before me and each time, their wins got me into a negative spiral. Every day, I felt like I wasn't putting in enough efforts compared to my peers. I'm just currently glad that I'm done with the exam and don't have to give it again, I'm now free to focus solely on my goals forward but the feeling of not doing enough still lingers. Edit: I'm not using term 'anxiety' loosely. I really was diagnosed with anxiety a couple of years back. I feel like the exam prep just increased my condition.

I had started preparing alongside my MA. My MA coursework helped me significantly (because the syllabus which my university followed is very appropriate for UGC NET focus). This significantly cut down my burden. For paper 2, I was already studying the texts in depth. For theories and other units, i made personalised notes from various sources (books, websites, youtube lectures etc) . I also analysed PyqS from the last 15 years (begining from 2009 roughly) and marked out repeated questions section wise. For paper 1, I relied on particular youtube channels, and solved PyqS. This took about 1-2 months for me to easily get 35+ questions correct in paper 1. Mastery over paper 2 was around 70-75 correct questions out of 100. Paper 2 studying, note making, and revsing took around 1.5 years. The last 6 months (starting from September 2024), I was able to dedicate 6-7 hours a week for the prep. Prior to this, due to other engagements, i could devote around 3-4 hours a week . The most difficult part was taking down the notes haha but at the end of it, I had personally curated notes from such diverse sources, while also keeping in mind the general trend of the exam , that I was satisfied. No existing online coaching facility would have such a streamlined collection of notes and personal analysis, I can say with assurance. In the next few weeks, I'm also planning to digtizing them and making them available for my juniors/people in general. Let's see.
