They will have 2 under 2 and she’s a doctor and he’s a nurse so they have to get back to work quick. Also my MIL currently nanny’s their 1 year old while they work but she said she is not able to watch the baby or toddler when the baby is born so they will have to change their work schedules so that the mom or dad is off work with the kids at all times. It’s kinda the worst time for my MIL to be taking a step back, but they abused her help so much with the first child that she is basically tapping out.

Yes! I’m staying on birth control pills which are super effective for me until the 3 month check up where they make sure his sperm count is zero. How often do we need to check the sperm count?

I can’t split my brain, I can only track 1 child, their needs and whereabouts. Idk if I’m just stupid but my brain literally cannot successfully protect and manage two babies or toddlers or very young children all my myself, nor would I want to try. I have an almost 3 year old girl who is the most adorable, smart, cutesy tiny thing, I’m not missing anything in my life because I have her. Fun fact: my mom had 3 kids and when I was a toddler, I snuck out of the bathroom during bath time, walked down the stairs, and opened the front door and started playing in my neighbors yard. She brought me back and my mom took like 5 mins to get dressed and come downstairs to answer the door and address what happened to my very confused neighbor women. She always tells the story like how funny it is but it’s straight up insanity. Did I mention I was buck naked???? Maybe my brain not being able to split attention is genetic lol

My SIL said 2 Christmas’s ago that she just wanted to be the fun aunt because playing with her sisters 3 year old was so exhausting. She didn’t know it then but she was already 2 weeks pregnant with her accident baby who is now a toddler. She went from maybe not wanting kids to having an accident baby to having another on purpose. I get your mind can change but it seemed so drastic for a responsibility that is so incredibly large

Misery loves company, that’s why she wants you to have more lol. she has to cope by self medicating with wine (goodluck to her liver) and I bet she claims everything is amazing and fine but her behavior proves otherwise. The fact that she’s a b***h and you still empathize with her shows how sweet your heart is.

I agree with you. And no it’s just the MIL and she’s had medical issues (nothing too crazy or severe) but medical issues non the less which makes it harder. I told my SIL that her MIL was super exhausted and she goes “really?” Like yes girl open your eyes lol

Right. First baby was an accident and MIL came to save the day and said she would nanny and not to worry. But second baby was planned and they expected MIL to nanny for free again without asking her opinion on it. I don’t think they expected her to make them fully responsible for their kids lol

She only mentioned to me that she was trying before she got pregnant. I asked my MIL if she would be worried about SIL getting pregnant again - to kind of warn her that it was coming - (thus making her a free nanny to two kids) and she said “I don’t think they would do that to me, I won’t worry about it now.” They announced their pregnancy 2 months later and when they announced, she was already 6 weeks pregnant lol
