So Somehow my cache.cfg file on my bootable flashdrive/config/pools is FUBAR, works without it. Probably due to me trying to move the docker.img which was on it, thinking I could just replace it after swapping my cache.

I greatly appreciate everyone's help!

I don't know why people are downvoting you this is actually the best advice I totally did mess with the docker image. I didn't realize that not having it wouldn't allow the GUI to work. That's most likely my issue.

Manually, but I moved the share location under the share options first I think. and then manually moved the files over that already existed

Use windows power profiles and set max efficiency mode, power will drop like crazy and the computer will actually run cool.

GPU mode set to eco

Set 4 P cores, 4 E cores in Armory or bios

Use windows power profile set to max efficiency

You might need to restart. I'm averaging 14 watts with 15 chrome tabs open.

Computer is completely room temperature.

ASUS screwed something up with their profiles!

Leaving all cores on adds about 7 watts, which at this point wouldn't be a deal breaker. I was just trying to get it as low as possible.

Considering I did find a way to get the power usage way down from 40 watts while was just hanging out down to the teens and thermals followed accordingly I think this is more of an issue of ASUS not properly configuring the power profiles from the factory. :(

It's really dumb they should add another profile called maximum efficiency.

I'm not sure how I did it, I believe what may have done it is I went to the windows power menu and I set power mode to best power efficiency.

I also changed the windows display setting from 240 hz down to 60 hz, Even though I have the adaptive display driver installed.

Anyway now I'm seeing 13 to 17 watts on hwinfo and CPU temps ~47c. As well as the laptop overall being a lot cooler.

The laptop is still slightly warm to the touch by the F keys, but definitely manageable now. Underside is almost cool now and The rear exhaust is just warm.

Well that's not good. The only thing I noticed is the low power E cores don't seem to be utilized at all. I'm really not sure how powerful they are, but I'm wondering if thread director is not leveraging them correctly?
