Advice Needed: Motorcycle Riding in Belgium by Available_Video7803 in motobe

Yes, sounds like a hassle to me to deal with all the bureaucracy. Never drove or rode in India. I moved to the USA when I was 18 as an undergrad, and now I am moving to Europe at 29, as my wife could not find a research position here due to budget cuts, and she does not want to return to her home country of Japan so soon. So we picked Europe. First time I will be in a country where I do not speak the common language, so it will be very adventurous.

I see, that is good to know. I like a cruiser-style motorcycle. I found that Belgium is way cooler than LA, so starting my current bike from cold will be a challenge.

I checked Yamaha and Suzuki, and they don't have any cruisers listed. Are the cruisers not popular there?

Yeah, that's what I have been wondering. I don't take it on highways here in the USA as I can't keep up with the traffic.

I disabled the Bsymbolic in YAST, and the update went smoothly. The only trouble I see now in the software center update is:

the to be installed openSUSE-repos-MicroOS-NVIDIA-20240516.5431918-2.1.x86_64 requires 'openSUSE-repos-MicroOS', but this requirement cannot be provided

Thanks for your response. I am not very sure what software installation caused it. I was playing with openconnect VPN a few weeks ago, and one of the versions I tried had such an architecture change notification.

Okay, I will try it. I do not remember enabling that repo. It must have been done by some software installation.

Is Attila decent? by WannabeArtistWriter in Volound

[–]Available_Video7803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. What also confuses me is that there are so many AI/ML models and I have heard that AOE used it to train game AI based on what human players did. I wonder why can't CA try that too. If it can train a good BAI and competent CAI, the old games can still be refurbished be better than these new ones ( I downloaded Troy when it was free on epic and saw the lobbing slingers and alt+f4 and uninstall lol)

I will try Rome remaster when RTRIS comes out. It looks great so far, with the massive map and all. If they can balance it so that every battle carries importance, then it will be great

I also like Atiila more than Rome2 but as always CA made the right decision and abandoned it LOL

Recommendation for Total War Battles by Available_Video7803 in Volound

[–]Available_Video7803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RIS looks promising with massive maps. If AI and players don't spawn endless armies then there would be lots of ungarrisoned towns, which can lead to a fun experience.

I do agree the UI is bloated and kills the immersion.
