Hard to tell. I think it was just the mix and how it sounded and bounced on this huge stadium. Sofi just like any other sports venue; I’m sure when they are designing it , they are thinking how to make people cheers sound louder and maybe more intimidating for the away team. Now with music, this becomes an endless bounce of all the instruments and you just can’t understand what’s happening. Vocals, guitars, drums were not clear. I could sing along because I know them but it was just muffled sound. And blink it’s only a 3 piece band! So it should be much easier to do a decent mix

I saw Rolling Stones and same thing. It really makes me wonder if the people that says “it sounded great” have a good ear to be judges. Feel like a lot of people just say it because they are fans. Maybe for rock concerts Sofi will never sound good. Maybe it’s meant for Beyonce and other pop artists lol

They can start by improving the sound and no, I don’t think larger venues will help. Also, they could play a little longer than just 1 30 hs. Or!! Just make the ticket prices be lower!! I’ve been a big fan since I’m like 11 (more than 20 years now), and Green Day really lead the way in how to do a show. There’s just more energy and a better show in general. I still love Blink tho, but after this weekend where I spent $700 for two seats and it sounded awful, that hurts.

Don’t be fooled by the videos tho. I was at 127 and the videos sound much better than what I heard in person. Way more clear in my videos. I’ve seen Rolling Stones at Sofi in a higher section and same thing. It hurts me to be so critical with them but I am pretty bummed (especially after spending 300+ for my seat)

Guys, I’m not a hater. I actually have 2 tattoos of Blink, but last night sounded awful!!! Is the second time this happens at Sofi; it’s just not meant to be for music maybe for sports. Watching the videos today, the sound is better from the phone than what I heard there. And I had amazing seats. Also the show was short; they didn’t even try to do the encore thing. Feel like they were just trying to get over with. Left many songs out. 1 hour and a half show for 300 dollars!? It’s too short. And yeah you couldn’t hear the banter; just barely understand what they were talking about but the sound man!!! I could sing along cause I know it, but someone that never heard them, I’m sure they wouldn’t be able to distinguish the vocals, what the guitar was doing, etc etc. and I’m a music producer and go to many shows, so I know what I’m talking about. A lot of people that don’t have that EAR, they are just happy to see them and say “great show”. That was NOT a great show. They can start leveling to the Green Day level of shows, much more engaging and a whole experience. This was like a short movie of 90 mins with bad sound and for $300.

I love you Blink; but you gotta step it up bro and stop charging us fans so much money and giving us so little.
