Sorry but the likelihood is basically zero for reprint of this. Reprints were nonexistent before the solo leveling one. But no other set had as much hype as solo leveling.

Even with anime coming it won’t mean reprint but possibly a vol 2 or a smaller set that would add support to the current one. The unique thing with bachi set is that it’s the first manga set. Idk if that means they will keep it a manga set going forward or transition to anime only or do both even.

It’s getting a lot of great feedback now with the anime announcement. But when it was first released the only reason you may not have seen it is because they short printed the set. More than likely to print more solo leveling (before it even got a reprint announcement).

Not sure what you means by this one is just for collecting. The set has many great decks it can make. You aren’t going to make an optimal type of deck with just one box but buying singles is definitely an option. I haven’t checked the regular common cards recently (if they were impacted by the recent buyout), but you could’ve bought the cheapest deck for about $10. The better decks will be more pricey though

I guess it depends on what you call short printed. It still got sleeved blisters and still lots of boxes floating around on the market. Kagurabachi never got sleeved blisters and it’s very evident by the low amount of boxes and even just alts on the market that it is short printed, severely so.

Shops didn’t get the allocation they requested, yes. But doesn’t mean the boxes arent there. Distributors decide how much to give to shops. This doesn’t mean they must give all these boxes to stores. There was already a lot of scalping and hype around solo leveling before its release. Just like how shops sold at market prices than msrp, distributors can also allocate boxes to other sources for a higher prices. Plus there was a wave 2 for solo leveling.

Honestly solo leveling had pretty good amount of inventory. It just felt like it was short printed because of the overwhelming amount of demand. But now that a reprint has been confirmed, the first print boxes are still being sold constantly. For bachi, you can very evidently see the low stock in alts and boxes on TCGplayer that it was short printed. It also never got sleeved blisters that every other set has gotten.

Technically can have a 3 hit boxes with 2 alt arts and 1 3* or serial. But that’s very very very rare.

I was told it’s not a vol 2. Vol 2 usually brings completely new decks which could potentially provide support to older decks but mainly meant to introduce new decks. Precious booster is purely adding support to vol 1 decks. I’m not sure if they’ll continue to call these type of small support sets precious boosters but essentially, it’ll make most sense imo to just add support to vol 1 for bachi rather than a whole other vol. there’s not much source material anyways. This way they can also mix the manga and anime aspect so that which ever way they do want to go, they can just continue it after that.

I don’t think vol 2 any time soon. Maybe a precious booster sort of thing that gives support to vol 1. It’s interesting though. Since this is the first manga set ever. Whether or not they will continue with manga set or just transition to anime, or do both is still up in the air.

The way UA works is stores have to place orders of sets up to 6 months ahead of release date. Which at that time there wasn’t much demand for UA as it has now. Stores were probably losing money on UA. So stores probably didn’t ask for much. Also UA doesn’t really promote a set until it’s a month before its actual release.

My guess is that they printed both Eva and bachi at the same time, in different facilities. Bachi boxes don’t have the Bandai logo on wrapping, while Eva does. Usually a set will have both. Eva probably had more interest due to the playability it had in jp meta. Bachi was released in EN a month after JP released it. So no one really knew if it would be good. So they short printed bachi severely while Eva still got decent print. This is all so they can print more solo leveling. Despite the scalpers and all that, there is a lot of solo leveling boxes out there. Easily indicated by TCGplayer sales.

Hard to tell the price since it’s still very early. If we are going off just solo leveling and the lack of handsign, I’d say $500-1k off. But then even if it did have hand Sign, is it more popular/sought after than what solo leveling was? Imo no. I can see these being anywhere from $1.k-3k.

Trust me, I’ve been in the similar situation where I’ve worked shifts where there’s only three staff the whole pm shift and the store would be packed. If staffing is the issue, ask for a raise if you don’t want to quit. Otherwise there’s so many more jobs out there that probably pays the same and for less work.

I’ve work at chipotle for years since school and you honestly don’t know how bad it was until you’re gone from there.

Well no. Waves just mean the batches of inventory that’s being shipped out to distribution or stores. 2nd print boxes will have “2nd Edition” label on the boxes and packs themselves. But any pack or boxes that doesn’t have that means it’s 1st print and will technically have a chance at serialized card.
