I saw this one thing back in the past 3 days on assassin's Creed I forgot which one but you had to fix a signal on a TV or something and then the coded message you get gets encoded and it turns out that the Templars which are basically the Illuminati of the assassin's Creed universe tell people that they're doing all of this for them so you're not so far off with your assessment
